QDMS Lite
A modular platform that brings internal document processes, from preparation and publishing to approval flows, revisions and audit logs, into a single intranet application.
In most organisations, instructions, forms and procedures live in shared folders and e-mail threads: which version is current, who approved it and when it was last revised all get lost easily. QDMS Lite moves that process into a system end to end: a document is prepared, passes through a defined approval flow, gets published, is revised, and every critical action is written to an audit log.
Scope
The system has two halves. Document management covers listing and advanced filtering, online viewing, a multi-step preparation flow, drafts and approvals, revision management, template management and task assignment. System infrastructure covers organisation units, application areas, role-based user access, approval flow configuration and audit logs.
Identity and setup
Sign-in runs over LDAP against the organisation’s Active Directory accounts, while authorisation goes through a custom SSO layer written for the project. Uploaded documents are viewed read-only in the browser through ONLYOFFICE Document Server. The whole application is packaged to run with Docker.

Highlights
End-to-end document lifecycle
Draft, submit, approve, reject, send back for revision, publish and revise. Every step is tracked as a status and stored together with version data.
Multi-step preparation flow
Document information, related areas and source selection (file upload or generation from a template) are split into separate steps, so users complete the process piece by piece without mistakes.
Approval flow builder
Approval flows are configured from the UI: step type, level, participant (user or role) and order, with the flow bound to the relevant folders. Documents pass through it before publication.
Advanced listing and filtering
Documents can be filtered by code, title, status, type, period, date range, folder, application area and reading status, all alongside the folder tree.
Task assignment and templates
Administrators can assign preparation or revision tasks to users, who track them on a dedicated screen. Templates are listed, detailed and versioned separately.
Corporate identity and auditing
LDAP / Active Directory sign-in, role-based authorisation through a custom SSO layer, and audit logging of security-critical actions.
